Exam: PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer exam
Duration: 3 hours
Type: Multiple-choice for the current English exam; PECB may retain different exam types for some language versions.
Format: Open book for the current English multiple-choice exam
Questions / assessment: 80 for the current English multiple-choice exam
Exam languages: Multiple languages are available. Because PECB can vary exam type by language, use the current List of PECB Exams as the live source before publishing a complete language list.
Delivery: PECB supports online and paper-based examinations where shown in its exam list.
Exam / certification terms: Exam and certification terms should follow the current PECB course page and Examination Rules and Policies. Do not describe passing the exam as automatically conferring the Lead Implementer credential.

After successfully passing the exam, candidates can apply for one of the credentials below. The certificate is issued once all requirements related to the selected credential are met.

Professional experience: Five years: Two years of work experience in Information Security Management
